The PTA back-to-school supply kits contain all of the items and quantities specifically recommended by our RHES grade-level teachers. Supplies will be delivered to your student’s classroom by the first day of the 2024-25 school year. Because school supplies are communal at RHES (the children share all supplies except headphones), the supplies will not be labeled with your student’s name, but the classroom teacher will receive a list of students who ordered their supplies through the PTA sale. Orders will include the following supplies depending on grade:

Kindergarten:  Crayola 24-pk crayons (2), Elmer’s purple glue sticks (8), Ticonderoga sharpened pencils (24), Expo thin black dry-erase markers (4), Crayola washable markers (1 pk), primary lined picture composition book (1), blunt tip scissors (1).

First Grade:  Crayola 24-pk crayons (2), Elmer’s purple glue sticks (8), Ticonderoga sharpened pencils (24), Latex Free Pentel-Hi-Polymer Eraser (4), Expo thin black dry-erase markers (4), Crayola washable markers (1 pk), Crayola Colored Pencils (12), blunt tip scissors (1).

Second Grade:  Crayola 24-pk crayons (1), Elmer’s purple glue sticks (5), Ticonderoga sharpened pencils (12), Crayola Colored Pencils (12), Latex Free Pentel-Hi-Polymer Eraser (2), Expo thin black dry-erase markers (4), Crayola washable markers (1 pk), Primary lined picture composition book (2), blunt tip scissors (1), Pocket folder (2), Pencil Pouch (1).

*Please note:  The items in our kits are suggested for purchase — not required.  All students will have access to materials required for the RHES instructional program.  Additional items — such as paper towels, tissues, disinfecting wipes, etc. — are not included in our kits, but will still be welcomed as donations on Open House day or the first day of school.  Those items will be listed as “Voluntary Donations” (vs. “Recommended” supplies) on the suggested school supply list that will be distributed by the school this summer.  Though the PTA aims to use funds raised through this sale to help teachers stock their classrooms with needed optional supplies in the fall, we are told that there is no limit to the amount of sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, and paper towels that the teachers will need throughout the year, so please do check in with your teachers to see what they may need.  Thank you for your support!
